Boulder, Colorado received between 6 to 10 inches of rain within 12-18 hours with an additional 4 inches expected on Thursday.
The University of Colorado at Boulder announced it would close Thursday and Friday, due to concern about flash flooding and the school has been regularly warning students on Twitter, Facebook and the school’s website to stay indoors, let their families know they’re safe, and not go tubing in the tunnels.
Looks like that didn't turn out to well for them.
