The unemployment rate in Florida is ticking back up.
The state released the latest numbers Friday morning, and the unemployment rate is up one-tenth of a percentage point in March to 6.3%, from 6.2% in February.
Still, the rate is 1.4% lower than it was at the same time last year and remains below the national rate of 6.7%.
Florida's private sector businesses created 20,900 jobs in the month of March.
