September 11th remembrance ceremonies are taking place all over South Florida.
One of many is happening in Fort Lauderdale.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Museum President John Heiser says the honor guard and bagpipe players will be there to help everyone remember those who lost there lives back in 2001.
Other events are taking place throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties to mark the 12th anniversary of the attacks.
The public is invited to attend the Patriot Day Remembrance Ceremony at 8:30 a.m. at Pembroke Pines City Hall.
The ceremony there will include guest speakers and patriotic music.
Resident are welcome to submit photos of military loved ones, living or deceased for a "Salute OUR Soldiers" display on the first floor of the building.
Also taking place is a ceremony in Miami-Dade County.
Miami-Dade Police and Fire Rescue Departments will host a remembrance ceremony for all those police and firefighters that gave their all on September 11, 2001.
