After a decade on the run, the man who skipped the country to avoid serving his nearly 10-year prison sentence for DUI is back behind bars.

Federal agents finally tracked Samuel Silva to Panama.

U-S Marshal Barry Golden calls the arrest satisfying.

While appealing his conviction, Silva got a passport in a family member's name and fled to Puerto Rico and then Spain, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

Silva nearly killed an FHP trooper on I-95 in Miami-Dade when his truck slammed into her cruiser.
