Older drivers are not afraid to get behind the wheel.

A new study by Triple-A finds about 84-percent of older Americans age 65 and older still hold a driver's license.

Triple-A spokesperson Michele Harris says travel patterns for older drivers increased by about 20-percent, and about a third of them increased in miles traveled in 1990 and 2009.

Triple-A also finds one in six drivers are Senior Citizens, and about 68-percent of motorists age 85 and older drive at least five days per week.
