It's so much to do.. and so little time to do it in Tallahassee.
Florida lawmakers are trading last-minute offers to come up with a final deal on a new $75-billion state budget.
Over the weekend the House offered to give raises for state law enforcement officers and judicial system employees.
Because of the 72-hour cooling off period, it has to be on legislators' desks by tomorrow.. in order for a Friday vote.
Bills that would legalize a strain of marijuana for medical use, expand the state's private school voucher program and offer tuition breaks for children of illegal immigrants also need votes before Friday's recess or else they'll die... at least until the next legislative session.
