A procession for a fallen Broward Sheriff's deputy is affecting traffic this afternoon.
Drivers in Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale and North Lauderdale can expect delays as the funeral cars for Daniel Rivera make their way from the funeral home to the church to the cemetery.
Rivera died Saturday, 10 days after crashing off I-95 while driving to work on a rainy morning.
Expect traffic delays as the funeral procession goes from Forest Lawn Funeral Home on W. Copans then heads west to I-95 south, exiting at Cypress Creek Road and travels west to Calvary Chapel on W. Cypress Creek Road in Ft. Lauderdale.
When the procession leaves the church, it will travel west on Cypress Creek to Nrothwest 31st Avenue, continuing south to Prospect Road and then west to State Road 7.

A visitation for Deputy Daniel Rivera will be held at First Baptist Church in Pompano Beach, followed by his funeral Friday.
Rivera was on his way to work when his patrol car veered off I-95 crashing into a tree.
The Ground Zero Honor Flag -which travels across the country to honor those killed in the line of duty -will be on display.
He worked for the Sheriff's office for 10 years. He leaves behind a 10-year-old son and fiance.
