Bullying is not just for the playground anymore.
An estimated 35 percent of the United States workforce now reports being bullied at work.
That's 53.5 million people.
Dr. Colleen Logan, licensed counselor and career counseling program director at Walden University specializes in bullying issues and says the problem is very real.
Logan says one-third of targets of workplace bullying say the abuse they endure is the first-ever experience of its kind in their lives.
It can take on many forms, including verbal abuse, rumors and gossip, humiliating behavior, and work interference, including sabotage that prevents work from getting done.
Colleen says many organizations are adopting anti-bullying policies, including many right here in South Florida.
The city of Miami Beach, which is launching a No Hate Initiative this weekend.
