Miami-Dade's State Attorney is holding a forum today in an effort to end human trafficking. State Attorney Kathy Fernandez Rundle hosting the 6th annual forum titled Healing the Wounds.
Rundle says they'll discuss innovative strategies end the 'modern day slavery.' She says one of the focuses this year is to provide resources to those who have survived the crime.
The forum will be held at Jackson Memorial Hospital and will bring together victims' advocates , community leaders law enforcement and more.
