Cops are searching for a suspect after they say he walked into the Publix located at 1170 Weston Road in Weston and placed 11 Red Bull 12-packs into a shopping cart. He then proceeded to casually stroll out of the store without paying.
Minutes later, at a second Publix, located at 1601 Promenade Blvd. in Weston, the thief pulled the same crime. This time, he left the store with four 12-packs of Red Bull.
On Feb. 5, the Red Bull bandit returned to the Publix at 1601 Promenade Blvd. and stole an additional 11 Red Bull 12-packs.
Detectives believe the thief has hit various stores throughout Broward County and may be using rental cars during the crimes. He is described as a black male in his 20s, 6 foot 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds with a thin build and short dark hair.
