Ivanka Trump Tweeted About Religion...

Ivanka Trump took to Twitter earlier this week to express her opinions on religious tolerance, and to urge her audience to "protect our houses of worship and religious centers".

Her post came after a slew of bomb threats against Jewish Community Centers (note her hashtag, #JCC) across the country—affecting more than 50 centers in 27 states and one Canadian province.

And although she had good intentions, and Trump herself converted to Judaism before marrying Jared Kushner, the tweet was not well received.

Most reply-tweets shared the same message: to pass the message over to her father, President Donald Trump. Ivanka's tweet was ultimately branded as "ironic", referencing the fact  that her father’s chief strategist, Steve Bannon, has been accused of anti-Semitism.

Responders also questioned if people should show the same tolerance to other faiths, in particular Muslims, whom President Donald Trump has been accused of demonizing through his recent attempt at a travel ban.

Here's a taste of some of the direct responses:

As of now, Trump has yet to respond or elaborate on any of the 11,000 responses.
