West Palm Beach Girl Stabs Woman Over Parking Space Dispute

A 19-year-old West Palm Beach girl is facing charges after stabbing a woman over a traffic dispute.

Elanta Mylin Cao exchanged words with a 28-year-old West Palm Beach woman after the victim allegedly almost hit Cao's car while pulling out of a parking space, according to the Palm Beach Post. No physical fight took place at that time.

That changed, however, when the victim returned to the lot at the 1500 block of North Congress Avenue. Reports say she found Cao waiting for her there.

The women pushed each other and Cao allegedly responded by pulling a knife. She then swung the weapon at the victim, causing a 3-inch laceration on her left arm. The victim ran to her apartment.

Cao was found by West Palm Beach police a short time later. She admitted to stabbing the victim.

Cao faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She  was released from the Palm Beach County Jail after posting a $5,000 bond Sunday.
