Rep. Ted Deutch Wants to Take the Money Out of Politics

Democratic Representative Ted Deutch spoke to dozens of concerned citizens about campaign finance reform in Wilton Manors.

In a town hall meeting Thursday at The Pride Center, the South Florida Congressman says the 'Democracy for All Amendment' would take the money out of politics and give a voice to the people.

"It restores the right, the right to keep corporations out of elections, the right to pass sensible limits on money in politics and the right to consider enacting a public financing system that would make good government possible," said Rep. Ted Deutch.

Rep. Deutch is working with American Promise on statewide ballot initiatives and local resolutions in cities to ultimately 'win' the 28th Amendment.
