American Airlines announced that it is ending agreements to fly the Miami Dolphins, and several other NFL teams.
Along with the Fins, the airline is grounding NFL charter flights for the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Steelers.
A spokesman for American says the changes are needed to ensure the airline will be able to accommodate regular passenger operations.
This football season, the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and the Carolina Panthers will be flown by American.
