REPORT: Arrested Miami Cop Given Medal of Heroism in 2013, Assault Claims in 2016

There's an interesting revelation about the Miami Police Officer arrested this week on charges of false imprisonment and battery.

In 2013, Officer Alexi Figueroa was presented the Florida Medal of Heroism award by Governor Scott, for stopping a man who was shooting at a supermarket, while he was off duty.

But in 2016 while on duty,  an arrest warrant claims Figueroa was in a marked vehicle when he fondled a 19-year-old woman.

The Miami Fraternal Order of Police says Figueroa is "looking forward to his day in court to be exonerated" of the charges.
