The death of a tow truck driver in Plantation Friday morning is being investigated, but it appears foul play may not be involved.
Police say they were called to a parking lot at 8100 W. Broward Blvd. because of an accident, and when they got there, they found the driver's body under a vehicle attached to his truck.
The company's owner says the driver had been with them for 12 years, but he may have made a deadly mistake by not securing the vehicle well enough. The cause of death is under investigation, but it appears that the unsecured vehicle may have ran the man over.
The driver's identity has not been released as police work to notify relatives.
