AAA Offers Safety Tips During "100 Deadliest Days" Teen Driving Time Spac

Summer is creeping up on us... but the beloved season also marks the most deadly time of the year for teen divers.

The time known as the "100 deadliest days" spans from Memorial to Labor Day. Unfortunately, its name gives it away... it is when the number of deadly teen car accidents increases because more new, inexperienced drivers are out of school and hitting the already-crowded roads.

AAA says speed, seat belts, and distractions (such as cellphones) are the three most common factors in deadly teen car accidents.

Safety advocates suggest parents sign an agreement with their new, teen drivers, setting clear consequences for breaking the rules for the road.
