A Miami-Dade police cruiser is crushed following an ugly three-vehicle crash in Southwest Miami-Dade Friday afternoon.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials say the officer in the cruiser suffered a leg injury, and was trasported to a nearby hospital.
A 3-year-old boy involved in the accident suffered a neck injury and cut and was also transported to the hospital.
The boy's 40-year-old mother, who was driving one of the vehicles, is ok. She was able to accompany the child to the hospital.
Cops will investigate who caused the crash on Southwest 147th Avenue and 184th Street. Southwest 147th Avenue has been shutdown for the time being.
No other information was immediately available.
