Orlando Ranked Nation's Top City For Gamers, According To New Study

A new study claims Orlando is the nation's best city for video gamers.

WalltHub says about 50 percent of the nation's adults play video games, and nearly two in three households are home to a least one gamer who plays an average of three to four hours per week.

Orlando's number of video game stores per-capita and number of arcades has pushed it to the top of the list for the 100 largest "gamer" cities in the nation. Other cities in the top 5 rankings were Seattle, Austin, New York and Atlanta.

Globally, gaming represents a $100 billion industry. Gaming revenues exceed $25 billion in the U.S., alone.
