A man is dead after being struck by a machete, before wandering into traffic and then being hit by two cars in Miami.
The incident took place around 5 a.m. Thursday near Valero Gas Station along Northwest 36th Street and 32nd Avenue.
Surveillance video captured the moment the man was struck by one of the vehicles. Another car also stuck the victim. However, the driver of the second car remained on scene until help arrived.
Police say the incident began when the driver of a red car carrier went into the gas station. Moments later, an altercation broke out between the driver and a customer. The man inside of the gas station is believed to step out, pick up a machete and strike the driver in the head, police say.
The victim stumbled into the street where he later died.
Police are now working to determine what exactly caused the whole ordeal.
