BREAKING: Jury Finds Cid Torrez Guilty Of Murder Of Estranged Wife

Jurors found Cid Torrez guilty of second-degree murder Friday in the killing of his estranged wife, who was last seen in March 2012.

Vilet Torrez was last seen on surveillance video March 31, 2012, after arriving back to her Miramar home after a night out with her boyfriend. Her body was never found.

During the trial, prosecutors painted Cid Torrez during the trial as a jealous husband, who was upset that his soon-to-be ex-wife had moved on with another man.

Detectives say Cid followed his wife's movements through GPS tracking and that a cadaver dog pointed to his car's trunk. He's also accused of asking a friend about buying a gun and hiding a body.

Vilet's boyfriend, Zoe Rodriguez, took the stand during the trial, claiming that Cid Torrez told him to end his relationship with the victim.

The jury deliberated for two days before deciding Torrez's fate.
