Celeb Chef Gordon Ramsay Hunts Florida Pythons For New Reality Series

Celebrity chef and well known tough-critic Gordon Ramsay recently joined South Florida's ongoing fight against invasive pythons.

Ramsay, along with his son, Jack, and South Florida Waster Management District's Python Elimination Program hunter Kyle Penniston, recently trekked out into the Everglades and successfully hunted three, unwelcomed serpents.

Ramsay then cooked one of the pythons right on scene, using a portable oven.

Host and judge of popular series such as Hell's Kitchen and Masterchef, Ramsay filmed the hunt as part of an upcoming segment for his latest series, The F Word With Gordon Ramsay.

Their kills bring the total number of invasive pythons eliminated by the SFWMD's python elimination program to 317 snakes in four months.

The kills also upped the total number of pythons eliminated by Penniston, of Miami, to almost 30 snakes.

In total, the snakes eliminated by the program so far would stretch more than 2,000 feet in length.

The total weight of all the snakes eliminated so far in the SFWMD Python Elimination Program is more than two tons.
