ACoral Gables Fire Lieutenant was hit by a bullet Sunday night near Northwest Miami-Dade.
Miami-Dade Police say Coral Gables Fire Lieutenant Xavier Jones was shot by a stray bullet around 10:21 p.m. near Northwest 30th Avenue and 51st Street.
Authorities say Jones was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical but stable condition.
No arrests have been made in relation to the incident.
