One Hospitalized With Burns Following Blaze At Opa-locka Junkyard

One person is recovering with severe burns in the hospital after flames broke out at an Opa-locka junkyard Thursday morning.  

Multiple vehicles burned and thick black smoke filled the air at Mega Used Auto Parts on Cairo Lane. 

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said the victim rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital was not a firefighter.  

There was no immediate word as to what caused the fire.
