Surveillance video shows the heart-stopping moments when an unidentified man held up a Miami gas station at gunpoint earlier this month.
The robbery was reported at about 9:15 p.m. Aug. 2 at the Valero gas station at 2200 SW 27th Ave.
Miami police said the armed robber approached the counter, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded all of the money from inside the cash register.
The surveillance video captured a good shot of the unmasked robber, but police have yet to identify him.
Police said the clerk, who was in fear for her life, complied with the robber's demands and handed him all of the money in the register.
The thief grabbed the cash and fled south on Southwest 27th Avenue, authorities said.
