South Florida will remain under a flood watch through Saturday morning. Flood advisories are in effect from the Atlantic to the Gulf Coast.
The National Weather Service says a tropical disturbance will continue to bring heavy rainfall across the region over the next couple of days.
This could cause roadways to become impassible.
Should canals and drainage ways become flooded, water could rise high enough to enter some structures.
