The office of First Lady Melania Trump is firing back at social media criticism about FLOTUS' shoes, calling it sad.
Melania was photographed in high heels Tuesday, as she and the President headed to flood-ravaged southern Texas.
In a statement to Fox News, Stephanie Grisham, communication director for the First Lady, said people should be focused on the ongoing natural disaster in Texas and should not be worrying about Mrs. Trump's shoes.
By the time Air Force One arrived in Corpus Christi Tuesday, Melania Trump had swapped the stilettos out for sneakers.
