Former Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Vols and USC Trojans head coach Lane Kiffin will make his debut Friday night as head football coach of Florida Atlantic University.
The FAU Owls will host Navy at Boca Raton with kickoff at 8 p.m.
Kiffin most recently served as offensive coordinator for Alabama under coach Nick Saban. He has almost nowhere to go but up at FAU, which is coming off three consecutive 3-9 seasons.
Navy is coming off a 9-5 season in which it lost in the Armed Forces Bowl to Louisiana Tech.
The game will be televised on ESPNU.
