Gov. Scott, SoFlo Nursing Home At War Over Death Tragedy Following Irma

Governor Rick Scott's office has accused a South Florida nursing home of deleting voicemails from the people in charge of the facility.

A total of eleven patients/residents of The Rehabilitation Center At Hollywood Hills died from heat-related incidents following power outages due to Hurricane Irma.

Administrators at the nursing home say they sent messages to Gov. Scott's cell phone indicating they needed immediate assistance. But Sunday, the governor's office said the voicemails were not urgent in nature and the messages were forwarded to "the appropriate state agencies."

CBS Miami reports the first message from The Rehabilitation Center arrived in Scott's inbox in the 36 hours before the first patient's death.

The incident continues to undergo investigation.
