Coastal Flood Advisory In Effect Through Thursday

A coastal flood advisory is in effect until 4 a.m. Thursday for all of coastal Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

The advisory comes as the king tides are present in the area. King tides are the very highest of tides. They are naturally occurring, predictable events.

Over the next three days, forecasters predict at least three inches of rain fall, with easterly winds blowing 20-30 mph.

A small craft advisory has been put in place, as dangerous rip currents may be present.

As of Tuesday, the next high tide will peak at 7:49 p.m. in Miami-Dade.
