Authorities say a man's body was found Tuesday in a burning car in North Lauderdale.
Broward Sheriff's Office said officials responded to the car on fire at Bicentennial Park in the 6100 block of Kimberly Boulevard around 5 a.m.
After the fire was extinguished, firefighters and deputies discovered a man's body inside the car. His identity wasn't released.
One witness said she heard several gunshots and a car squeal away just before the car went up in flames.
The incident is currently under investigation, authorities say.
