UPDATE 12:20 p.m.
Sunrise Police say a murder suspect from Indian River County was found dead Monday near Sawgrass Mills Mall.
Officers had set up a perimeter to search for 45-year-old Pedro Torres, who they believed had killed his wife, Vicky Torres, a day earlier. Torres was spotted near the Rooms To Go in the Sunrise mall.
Officers surrounded a green Toyota Sienna, which was registered to Torres, and found him deceased inside the car.
Police have shut down Flamingo Road while they continue to work the scene.

Authorities responded to an area near Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise Monday morning as part of a possible search for a murder suspect.
Officers responded to the parking lot near the Rooms to Go at 1905 N. Flamingo Road.
Officers surrounded a car in that location.
Sunrise Police officials said they were assisting authorities from Indian River County in the search for a murder suspect who may be in the area.
Police didn't release the name of the suspect, but it's believed to be Pedro Torres, who authorities are looking for as a person of interest in the Sunday morning murder of his wife, Vicky Torres.
Flamingo Road was shut down in the area and people were advised to stay away.
No other information was immediately known.
