With New England Patriot wide receiver Danny Amendola expected to sign with the Miami Dolphins, a pair of his Boston-based teammates are giving him positive sendoffs.
Quarterback Tom Brady, who threw passes to Amendola over the past five seasons, posted on Instagram several photos of he and Amendola, often in celebration with teammates nearby.
Fellow wide receiver Julian Edelman also took to Instagram, posting: “Hell of a ride these past few years Dolamite … save a seat for me down in South Beach. #whenyourcoolitsalwayssunny”
Tight end Rob Gronkowski thanked Amendola with an Instagram post on Wednesday, commending the wide receiver for his efforts with the Patriots.
Amendola will move down to Miami, where the 32-year-old will be expected to help replicate the production lost by Jarvis Landry.
