Sister Of Shooter Dylann Roof Charged For Weapons, Weed In School

The teenage sister of Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof is accused of bringing weapons and marijuana to her high school.

Eighteen-year-old Morgan Roof bonded out of jail on a $5,000 bail after she was arrested at her school in Columbia, Couth Carolina, on Wednesday.

Roof was arrested after a school administrator at A.C. Flora High School was notified that Roof was carrying marijuana, pepper spray and a knife on campus, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

Roof also made an alarming Snapchat post expressing anger about the National School Walkout, various news outlet are reporting. A 17-minute walkout was staged at schools around the country on Wednesday to honor the 17 people killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland last month and call for stricter gun control laws.

No A.C. Flora High students were harmed Wednesday, authorities said.

Morgan Roof's brother is on death row for the murders of nine people at a black church in Charleston.
