After Several Dips, Gas Prices Are On The Rise In South Florida

After seeing a much-welcomed dip in prices for a number of consecutive weeks, the price for a gallon of gas in South Florida has risen, and motorists will have to dish out a little extra $$$ to fill up their tanks.

The average price for a gallon rose to $2.60, up six cents from this point last week – which AAA reports is among the most expensive averages in the state of Florida this week.

In Miami, one of the cheapest gas prices is at the Valero station on West Flagler Street and 18th Avenue for $2.49 a gallon.

In Fort Lauderdale, the 7-Eleven station at 330 North Federal Highway is selling gas for $2.45 a gallon.
