10-Year-Old Charged After Making Fake Report Of Shots Fired At FL School

A third grader student from South Florida has been ordered on home detention for the next three weeks after authorities say he called 911 to report a shooter at Oakland Park's North Andrews Gardens Elementary School.

The 10-year-old is accused of using his aunt's cell phone and her name when making the call.

He's supposedly confessed. Deputies charged the boy with misusing the 911 system by calling in a fake report of shots fired at North Andrews Gardens Elementary on Monday.
