First-Year Miami Dolphins Gear Up For Rookie Minicamp

The Miami Dolphins are getting set for this year's rookie minicamp.

Rookie players for the Fins will report to Davie starting tomorrow for the two-day minicamp.

Unlike most NFL team’s rookie minicamp, the Dolphins’ first-year players will not be practicing on the field. Instead, they will attend meetings and complete classroom work, as well as have discussions on everything that comes with being an NFL player, including how to deal with the media.

They will also be spending time with coaches, including members of the Dolphins development program, sports science and nutrition staff.

Organized team activities (OTAs) begin later this month.

A mandatory minicamp will take place June 5th through June 7th.
