South Florida Gas Prices Continue To Rise

Gas prices throughout South Florida are their highest they've been in more than three years.

The Sunshine State average of $2.82 per gallon marks the highest its reached since November of 2014. Currently, we're around 52 cents higher than this point last year according.

Officials with AAA predict that number could continue on its upward trend, reaching the $3 mark by June, when several factors kick in including rising crude costs, tighter supplies and the demand from summer travel beginning.

In Miami-Dade, the cheapest gas is at the Rocket Fuel station on East 65th Street in Hialeah, where a gallon of fuel will be $2.67.

In Broward, the cheapest gas is at the Rocket Fuel station on North 66th Avenue in Davie for $2.61.
