South Florida student activists are demanding common sense gun legislation on the two year anniversary of Orlando's Pulse nightclub attack. While lying for 12-minutes in the sidewalk and grass across from the President's Mar a Lago estate in Palm Beach, student activists gathered to honor both the victims of Pulse and Parkland.
49 people died in the attack at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando on June 12, 2016. 17 people died at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Valentine's Day this year.
Other die-in events are taking place today in Orlando, New York and Washington, D.C.
