Orlando Airport Prepares For Busiest-Ever 4th Of July Holiday

Florida's busiest airport is preparing for its busiest-ever 4th of July holiday travel week. 

Officials at Orlando International Airport are expecting 1.4 million passengers over an 11-day travel period that begins today and extends through Sunday, July 8th. 

That's a traveler increase of 6.2 percent over last year. 

The busiest day at OIA is projected to be this Sunday, with an estimated total of 145,000 travelers arriving and departing over a single 24-hour period.
