More Than 200K U.S. Jobs Added In June

The U.S. economy added 213,000 jobs throughout the month of June.

The numbers, first out this morning from the Labor Department, are better than the expected 190-to-195,000.

On the other side of the spectrum, though, the unemployment rate ticked up.

Throughout June, the unemployment rate raised from 3.8 percent to 4 percent.
