Coral Gables Police Looking For Pick-Pocketing Whole Foods Thieves

The Coral Gables Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a group of pick-pocketing thieves who were involved in a theft at Whole Foods.

Police said the three unidentified subjects targeted a woman at the Whole Foods store on Red Road in Coral Gables on July 7.

One white male and two white females are seen on surveillance footage surrounding a grocery cart with the victim’s purse in it. 

According to surveillance video, the male subject is seen reaching into the victim’s purse, removing the wallet, and then walking away and handing the wallet off to the other female subject. 

The three subjects then left the store. 

The male subject is described as a white male wearing a navy and white striped polo shirt and khaki shorts. Both female subjects are seen wearing a beach style dress, white hat, and sunglasses.
