Plane Makes Emergency Landing In FL After Bird Is Sucked Into Engine

No injuries were reported after an Allegiant Air flightwas forced to make an emergency landing at a Florida airport on Wednesday.

Officials say the aircraft made an emergency landing at Orlando Sanford International Airport.

Airport officials said the flight from Punta Gorda to Milwaukee was diverted this morning when a bird was sucked into one of the plane's engines during takeoff.

The officials said they were checking to see if the plane was still safe to fly, otherwise the flight would continue on another aircraft.
