Gov. Scott Promotes Upcoming FL Sales Tax Holiday Weekend

Governor Rick Scott was in South Florida on Wednesday, promotion the upcoming back-to-school sales tax holiday. 

The statewide sales tax holiday begins on Friday and runs through Sunday. 

 Parents and students can save sales tax on clothing, footwear, and certain accessories selling for 60 dollars or less per item and certain school supplies selling for 15 dollars or less per item. 

Scott specifically highlighted the intention of the holiday during a Wednesday afternoon conference appearance at LR Uniforms in Miami.
