Is Pompano Beach Water Turning Into.... Chocolate Milk?!

A South Florida developer is being blamed for an incident that turned a river into something that resembled the color of chocolate milk.

Pompano Beach's DP Development is accused of discharging groundwater into storm drains in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday.

The city says that led the New River to change colors before the problem was fixed.

A city official says the discharge was not hazardous, but the contractor could be fined.
