CDC: Condoms Are Not Reusable, Throw Them Away!

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is reminding the public to never wash and/or reuse condoms.

It may sound like something that should already be common knowledge, but the CDC tweeted “We say it because people do it.”

The warning was issued as the CDC says they saw a recent spike in the number of sexually transmitted diseases.

Cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis have recently reached record highs, according to the CDC.

If used correctly, condoms can help reduce the risk of STDs.

Keep in mind, though, that condoms are designed for single use ONLY.
