Boaters May Soon Have To Pay To Visit Everglades National Park

Boaters wanting to visit South Florida's Everglades National Park may soon have to pay.

The park has been facing a nearly $88 million dollar repair backlog that's caused them to raise their gate fees.

Now, officials are considering charging those who visit by water, including those on board a fishing charter.

Residents have until August 31st to say "yeah or nay" to the proposal in their public comment period online.
