A Florida police officer has been injured after a shooting in Jacksonville Beach.
According to authorities, the incident happened around 10:00 Wednesday night while three officers were chasing a shooting suspect on Beach Boulevard.
Shots were exchanged between the suspect and the officers, police said, and the suspect and one officer were hit.
The officer is in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery.
There's been no word on the condition of the suspect.
