SoFla Police Unions Boycotting Dolphins Over National Anthem Controversy

Controversy over the national anthem is prompting police unions in South Florida to call on their members to boycott the Miami Dolphins.

During the playing of the anthem during last Thursday's preseason opener, wide receivers Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson took a knee and defensive end Robert Quinn raised his right fist while standing.

They were protesting social and racial injustice and the NFL announced there would be no punishment.

Unions representing officers in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties are canceling their participation in a program where members get discounted prices on Dolphins tickets.
