Miami Businessman, Philanthropist Remembered For Honorable Donations

A Miami businessman is being remembered as a pioneer in philanthropy.

That's how the president of Miami-Dade College describes Jay Kislak, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 96.

MDC was one of the schools Kislak made donations to, as well as the University of Miami.

Kislak made his fortune in real estate and banking, but he always had a passion for history, and donated items from his personal collection can be seen in the Library of Congress.
